Summary

"NHS Staff Survey 2024" They feel supported in their employers making reasonable adjustments to help them carry out their work, rating an 82.9% Be responsible for setting up and preparing packs for positive assessment clinics on both the Bowel Cancer Screening System (BCSS) and local systems (eCARE/ CareFlow). Schedule assessment clinics across all sites. Respond to fluctuations in demand. Prepare packs for Endoscopy booking patients and providing the details to Endoscopy in a timely manner. Physically taking and/ or scanning the packs to the unit. Play a key role in co-ordinating patient appointments (including on the BCSS), ensuring referral pathways are adhered to. To update and maintain patient notes. Ensure datasets are complete and patients are followed up in a timely manner, flagging up any queries/ concerns with relevant staff members. Check the BCSS regularly through the day for new appointments to action and batch letters /patient questionnaires to be printed and posted. Be responsible for BCSP surveillance/ further procedures, liaising and booking appointments with patients across the county. Ensure the completion of patient pathways by arranging further procedures/ follow ups, as required, following patients through to discharge. To organise, co-ordinate, attend and minute all BCSP meetings- both internal and external. To provide secretarial support to the BCSP team, word processing, filling, photocopying and composing letters/ documents. Please refer to the Job Description for further details.
