Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (hybrid working available)
We are recruiting for a highly experienced Digital Project Manager to join a public sector organisation on a 3?month temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Digital Professional who is seeking an opportunity to showcase their experience delivering complex digital projects in a highly regulated environment, and who can make a real difference to the team.
The Role:
As the Digital Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating digital workstreams, supporting transformation activity, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with organisational priorities. Responsibilities include:
Leading the planning and delivery of digital projects across multiple service areas, managing the full lifecycle from discovery to implementation.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, ICT partners and external suppliers to track progress, manage dependencies and resolve delivery issues.
Identifying appropriate digital solutions that support operational processes, prioritising reuse of existing systems and technologies.
Managing supplier performance, monitoring delivery milestones and ensuring tasks are completed within agreed scope, timelines and budget.
Supporting continuous improvement of digital systems, including housing and corporate IT platforms, ensuring functionality meets service needs.
Maintaining oversight of project risks, issues and documentation, providing regular updates to governance boards.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and ensuring digital projects are understood and supported.
Providing guidance and day?to?day support to business analysts within the digital team.
You will need:
Extensive experience delivering digital or technology?enabled projects within complex organisations.
Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent).
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively.
Strong analytical skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping and interpreting information to support decision?making.
Experience managing suppliers and delivering outcomes against agreed scope and timelines.
Desirable Experience:
Experience contributing to digital strategy development.
Experience working across multiple councils or partnership environments.
Familiarity with MRI digital systems.
