Night Shift Machine Operators to join a busy food manufacturing company in Telford.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals who are looking for a long-term position with a well-established employer.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced production department, your duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Carrying out quality checks
- Ensuring products meet customer specifications
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Completing production paperwork accurately
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to achieve production targets
- Learning production processes and machine operations
- Assisting with machine changeovers and basic troubleshooting
What We're Looking For
- A switched-on and proactive approach to work
- Keen and willing to learn new skills
- Ability to work permanent night shifts
- Available to work weekends as part of the 4 on, 4 off rota
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to attend and successfully complete an aptitude test on-site before employment
This role involves a significant amount of training and learning about both the manufacturing process and the machinery used within the department. Therefore, candidates with previous experience as a
Machine Setter,
Machine Operator, or within a similar technical manufacturing role would be highly desirable.
