The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a
Caster to join a busy and established manufacturing company based in
Bloxwich.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out metal casting using traditional foundry methods
- Operating and monitoring furnaces safely and efficiently
- Tilting furnaces and pouring molten metal by hand
- Producing castings to required quality standards
- Completing general foundry and production duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous foundry, casting, or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Experience with furnace operation, tilt pouring, or hand pouring would be advantageous
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
