To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced administrator with a proven background in delivering complex business support within a busy and demanding environment. You will have strong experience coordinating meetings involving multiple stakeholders, producing detailed and accurate minutes, and managing action logs to ensure effective follow-up.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you will be working closely with colleagues, partner agencies, and senior professionals across a range of services. Experience in community safety, local government, safeguarding, enforcement, public protection, or a similar public sector setting is highly desirable. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information. Most importantly, you will be committed to supporting initiatives that make a positive difference to communities and help protect vulnerable residents across Birmingham.

What you'll get in return

You will be paid a competitive hourly rate and have a guaranteed long-term, full-time role, with further opportunities for permanent opportunities.
