Summary

Administrator

We are looking for a Social Prescribing Administrator to provide essential administrative support to ensure the service runs efficiently.

Position: Social Prescribing Administrator

Location: Harborne, Birmingham/hybrid

Hours: Part-time, up to 25 hours per week (ideally Monday to Friday hours to be agreed)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £25,878 pro rata

The Role

Working as part of Social Prescribing Service, you will support the delivery of services across Birmingham and North Solihull. You will work closely with Social Prescribers, Coordinators, volunteers, partner organisations, healthcare professionals, and service users, often acting as a first point of contact.

You will maintain accurate records using case management systems, Microsoft Office and other digital systems. You will coordinate communication between key stakeholders, and work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers, providing guidance on administrative processes and systems where required. As an ambassador for the organisation, you will help deliver a professional, welcoming, and person-centred service.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has previous administration experience:

- Can work well independently as well as in a team.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with all.

- Demonstrates reliability and follows through on commitments and responsibilities.

- Is person-centred, inclusive and non-judgemental approach when working with service users and colleagues alike.

- Has great organisational skills, is able to manage competing priorities with an excellent attention to detail.

- Confident using case management systems, Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel and other computer programmes to manage and record information accurately and securely.

- Shares the organisations values and commitment to supporting the local community.
