Summary
A Vacancy at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The purpose of this role is to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Trust’s Corporate Induction and Fundamental Training programmes, while ensuring the effective management and optimisation of Learning and Development systems.
The postholder will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and providing assurance on training compliance across the organisation, including statutory, mandatory and role-recommended learning requirements.
The role will also provide high-quality administrative and technical system support for Trust-wide learning processes, including appraisal and 1-to-1 systems, ensuring effective functionality, user support and accurate data. The postholder will work closely with managers, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to support organisational compliance, workforce development and continuous improvement.
The postholder will:
1. Manage and provide leadership to the administrative team, ensuring the effective delivery of Learning and Development administrative and system support services.
2. Lead key workstreams relating to Fundamental Training and Corporate Induction, supporting effective delivery, monitoring, compliance and continuous improvement across the Trust.
3. Analyse, interpret and report training and compliance data for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate information to support assurance, governance and decision-making.
4. Coordinate the management and provision of technical system support for the Trust’s appraisal and 1-to-1 processes, including supporting users and ensuring effective system administration.
5. Provide specialist advice and technical support relating to ESR and other IT and Learning and Development systems, supporting effective system utilisation, data quality and reporting.
6. Work collaboratively with managers, subject matter experts and other key stakeholders to ensure Learning and Development systems and processes effectively support organisational compliance and workforce development.
