SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource BaseDudley | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Term Time OnlyAre you a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs?Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Dudley that is looking to appoint caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a specialist resource base attached to the school.This provision supports children with a range of complex needs and offers a nurturing, structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.The RoleYou will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to support pupils who may have:

Hearing impairments

Speech, language and communication needs

Autism (ASC)

Moderate learning difficulties

Additional sensory or communication needs

Responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group support

Supporting pupils with communication and language development

Helping to deliver personalised learning activities

Encouraging independence and confidence

Building positive relationships with pupils, families and staff

Supporting behaviour through positive reinforcement and consistency

We're Looking ForWe would love to hear from you if you have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN

Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Care Worker, Nursery Practitioner or youth work experience

A patient, calm and nurturing approach

Excellent communication skills

A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
