Part-Time Teaching Assistant - SEND School Wolverhampton Competitive Rates of Pay Part-Time Opportunities AvailableAre you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role supporting children with additional needs?Hays Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded special school in Wolverhampton that supports pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and medical needs. The school is seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people and enjoys working in a supportive, specialist setting.The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils both in and out of the classroom

Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs

Encourage independence, confidence, and social development

Work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupil progress

Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

Provide personal care where required

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in schools, care settings, nurseries, or community environments

A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
