Summary

Are you a qualified Science Teacher looking for an opportunity outside the UK?

Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a British curriculum school overseas and is looking for an enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher to join its teaching team.

This role could suit an experienced Science Teacher, Biology Teacher, Chemistry Teacher or Physics Teacher who wants to combine a teaching career with the experience of living overseas.

You will teach Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 (KS3-KS5) within a British-style education setting, supporting students through GCSE and A Level study.

What you'll be teaching

Depending on your specialism and experience, your timetable may include:

KS3 Science

GCSE Science

A Level Science

Biology

Chemistry

Physics

Practical and laboratory-based Science

Examination preparation and revision

You will also contribute to assessment, curriculum development and the wider life of the school.

What we're looking for

We're interested in hearing from teachers who have:

QTS or another recognised UK teaching qualification

Recent experience teaching Science across KS3-KS5

Experience of GCSE and A Level teaching

A degree or strong subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics

Experience working within the British curriculum

Good classroom management and lesson-planning skills

A commitment to safeguarding and high expectations for pupils

The flexibility and enthusiasm required to relocate overseas

Previous international teaching experience is an advantage but is not essential.

£34,000-£46,000 salary, depending on experience
