Summary

Sanctuary Trust is a charity with a Christian ethos, providing safe and supportive accommodation for individuals in need. We are looking for a practical, reliable, and motivated Maintenance Operative to help maintain and improve our properties across Rochdale and Oldham.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll play an important part in ensuring our accommodation remains safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for the people we support.

Duties

Carry out general maintenance and property repairs across multiple sites.

Conduct routine property inspections and report any issues.

Support compliance with health and safety requirements.

Assist with setting up and furnishing new accommodation projects.

Purchase, collect, and deliver materials, furniture, and equipment.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain records of completed work and property conditions.

Transport tools, furniture, and supplies between sites.

Work closely with the Asset Manager to support operational needs.
