Summary
We’re looking for a full time Neighbourhood Housing Manager to lead the delivery of housing services across Caerphilly, on a fixed term basis until August 2027. In this role, you’ll be the main contact for customers and partners, working closely with teams across the organisation to deliver a joined up, holistic approach.

As a Neighbourhood Housing Manager, we want you to get to know our customers, so that if we do need to have some difficult conversations it’s easier to have them with someone they know and trust. We are a housing provider who targets zero evictions and you will have a key role to play in delivering this commitment. You will be connected to our customers, you’ll know at an early stage if things are going wrong and you can call upon support of our community development and housing support services to assist our customers to continue to live safely in their homes.
You will play a key role in supporting customers and communities by managing tenancies, lettings, improving estates and community safety across an area patch. This is a people first role, not a desk‑based one. You’ll be visible in your communities in, building relationships and trust, working with customers, colleagues and partners to sustain tenancies, ensure homes are safe and ready to let, and intervene early to support customers at risk—helping people sustain their homes and thrive. With regular estate visits, you’ll tackle safety issues, safeguarding concerns, and anti‑social behaviour.

£38,648 per annum
26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
