Summary

As Specialist Domestic Abuse Worker within our IRIS service, you will play an important role in supporting survivors of domestic abuse through the IRIS (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) model. Working as part of a specialist team, you will help GP practices and primary care professionals recognise and respond to domestic abuse, whilst providing direct support to people referred into the service.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals and partner agencies to deliver trauma-informed, psychologically informed and survivor-centred support. Alongside direct casework, you will help build knowledge and confidence across primary care services through training, partnership working and professional guidance.

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting survivors, building strong professional relationships, and helping improve responses to domestic abuse within healthcare settings.
