Summary

Your New Company

An established and highly respected manufacturing organisation is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its growing Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the introduction of new products, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the entire product development and manufacturing process.Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams, you will be responsible for driving quality excellence, reducing defects, managing risk and ensuring successful product launches.

Your New Role

As Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

Act as the lead Quality representative on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

Develop and implement Product Quality Standards for new programmes.

Ensure products are manufactured and assembled in line with required quality standards and customer expectations.

Support and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.

Review engineering drawings, technical data and specifications to ensure quality requirements are achieved.

Create and manage Quality Alerts, Inspection Plans, First Article Inspection Reports and other quality documentation.

Support product validation and testing activities.

Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving techniques.

Collaborate with production teams to improve operational performance and product quality.

Support internal, external and customer audits.

Monitor quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or quality environment.

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as AS9100 and/or ISO9001.

Strong understanding of quality tools, methodologies and continuous improvement processes.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments.

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.

HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in an Engineering or Technical discipline, or relevant industry experience.
