Quality Inspector to join a client's site in

Pentwyn, Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

Quality Inspector,

Quality Control Inspector,

QC Inspector,

Quality Assurance Inspector or

Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring products, materials and manufacturing processes meet strict quality standards, preventing defective products from reaching customers while supporting continuous improvement, product quality, quality assurance and manufacturing excellence.

Working closely with production teams and both national and international suppliers, you'll support product inspections, quality control activities, supplier quality, product compliance, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Duties

  • Carry out Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspections on materials and components.

  • Perform Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections before products are released.

  • Inspect materials, products and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Liaise with national and international suppliers to resolve quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Support shipment holds, product quarantines and rework activities.

  • Assist production within the Deployment area when required.

  • Maintain accurate quality inspection records and documentation.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the quality and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, QC Inspector, Quality Assurance Inspector or similar quality inspection role.

  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or high-volume production environment.

  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel is essential).

  • Experience of computer hardware and software would be advantageous.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
