Summary

This appointment based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenagebutmay haveclinical activity at other satellite sites. The Lister Hospital enjoys a unique geographical location close to London and Cambridge and the Trust has a reputation for commitment to the highest standards of care, but also forafriendly and supportive approach.

• Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the General and Emergency Surgery service and participation in strategic planning

• Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service

• Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity

• Active participation in continuing medical education
