Summary

The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Operational Team Leaders, to work at our client's busy logistics warehouse, based on the docks in Millbrook, Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a people-friendly and well-established company.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Providing support to the Operational Team/Shift Managers

Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries

Using the Warehouse Management System efficiently to monitor stock levels

Overseeing a team of Warehouse Operatives

Manual handling which includes wrapping pallets, lifting pallets and moving boxes

Overseeing all general warehouse duties and operations

Previous experience within a warehouse environment is essential. Previous experience leading a team is essential. This is to work on a rotating shift pattern, so any candidates must be happy to work early shifts and late shifts.

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position. There is a possibility that the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.

This is to work on a two-week rotating shift pattern. You will do two weeks on the early shift, then two weeks on the late shift, and keep rotating on that basis.

The hours for the early shift are Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00.

The hours for the late shift are Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00.

Any applicants must be happy to work BOTH shifts.

The starting pay rate is £13.65 per hour, increasing to £14.09 per hour after 12 weeks.
