Summary

Join UWE Bristol’s People Services team for a full-time (37 hours/week), fixed-term opportunity for an initial 12 months. This term may be extended or concluded earlier depending on the substantive postholder's return. Based at our modern Frenchay Campus, you will work a hybrid schedule, typically spending 3 days per week on campus.

You will help deliver an effective, compliant payroll and pensions service for over 5,000 employees using MHR iTrent. Crucially, you will deputise for the Payroll & Pensions Manager during absences and directly manage 3 Payroll and Pensions Officers within a wider team of eight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an efficient payroll and pensions service that complies with all statutory, regulatory, and legislative requirements.

• Provide specialist advice to resolve complex payroll and pension queries accurately and promptly.

• Support and develop your direct reports to ensure a proactive, customer-focused experience.

• Lead and contribute to service improvement initiatives, projects, and process developments.
