Summary
Please see job description and personal specification for full details, but it is expected the appointed candidate is a confident and competent nurse endoscopist and is skilled in assessment of patients. The appointed individual will support the 2ww cancer pathway in Colorectal Surgery by accepting, triaging and directing referrals to the appropriate first face to face contact, supporting with follow up scans / biopsies etc and navigating patients through the pathway. It is essential to have knowledge of Faster Diagnosis Standards, letters and documentation and supporting patients into treatment regimes where appropriate. There are opportunities to deliver training in the endoscopy and non endoscopy parts of the role.
