We are recruiting a Security Officer to join our team at CBRE One Snowhill, one of Birmingham's leading commercial buildings. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, reliable, customer-focused and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities
-Maintain a safe and secure environment for colleagues, visitors and contractors
-Carry out regular internal and external patrols
-Monitor access and egress points
-Welcome visitors and provide excellent customer service
-Manage visitor and contractor sign-in procedures
-Monitor CCTV and security systems where required
-Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies
-Complete incident reports and daily records accurately
-Support emergency evacuations and fire procedures
-Conduct building opening and closing procedures
-Report security, safety and maintenance concerns
-Liaise with emergency services when required
-Follow Assignment Instructions and client procedures
-Maintain professional standards at all times
-Work closely with site management and the wider Mitie team
-Protect people, property and assets
-Ensure security risks are identified and reported promptly
-Support a positive customer experience for all building users
What We're Looking ForEssential
-Valid SIA Security Guarding Licence or Door Supervisor Licence
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong customer service skills
-Good written and spoken English
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Professional and reliable approach
-Good attention to detail
-Basic IT skills
-Right to work in the UK

-Previous security experience
-Experience within a corporate or commercial environment
-CCTV experience
