School Business Manager

36 hours per week, term time plus 5 training days throughout the year.

Light Oaks Infants is a thriving and happy 3-form entry community school, with a caring ethos. Our school is unique in the Local Authority as the only Infant School. We have a strong staff team and are a well-resourced school. We work in close partnership with parents and stakeholders.

We are looking for a calm, flexible and motivated team member with:

  • Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. Business and Administration Diploma in Business Skills (AAT) Diploma in Human Resource Management (CIPD) Diploma in School Business Management (NCSL)
  • Experience in finance, procurement, administration, HR and Health and Safety
  • Knowledge of theory and practice of business administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & SIMS
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.
