Summary
Executive Director Support Assistant• 💰Salary: £23,080 Actual / £28,465 FTE• 🕒Hours: 30 hours per week / 52 weeks per year• 📍Location: Newbury College Campus• 📅Closing date: 4th October 2026This is an exciting time to join Newbury College as we continue on our transformational journey, while continuing the College’s strong tradition of preparing students for successful careers. You will be joining a vibrant, supportive and collaborative team.You will be an experienced administration professional who takes pride in attention to detail, organisation and forming excellent working relationships. Your pro-active attitude, good time management, MS Word skills, initiative and enthusiasm will ensure your success in this role. It would be ideal if you have experience doing a similar role, however the core skills listed above are the basis for being successful in this role. Knowledge and experience of working with Word, Excel and Adobe is required. This role reports to our Executive Director –Standards and Projects (EDSP) and the key areas of responsibility are; • Supporting our EDSP with project documentation and relevant distribution, providing a secretariat function for agreed projects and ensuring a sound interface between governance arrangements and projects • Supporting the Executive Directors with due diligence and procurement processes• Ensuring up to date college policies are approved and published, whilst supporting the authors and EDSP to ensure quality and accuracy If you would like to have an informal conversation prior to applying, please contact recruitment @newbury-college.ac.uk to arrange a team’s/phone conversation with a member of our leadership team.
