Summary

Admissions at St Bede’sWe are seeking an organised, confident and self-motivated individual to join our outstanding school as an Admissions Officer. Please note, applications will be reviewed upon receipt and as such, this vacancy may close earlier than the deadline stated. Early applications are encouraged.The appointed candidate will oversee the administrative journey of prospective student applications, transfer documentation, and key communications with families, local authorities, and faith leaders under the guidance of the Administration Manager.The successful applicant will manage the day-to-day operations of the admissions process with high accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities will include processing application forms and faith references, maintaining database records, managing waiting lists, onboarding of new students, preparing large-scale mailings, supporting open evenings and sixth form enrolment events, and coordinating paperwork for governor panels and appeal hearings.The ideal candidate should have meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to multitask, excellent IT skills with experience of database management, and a commitment to handling sensitive data in compliance with safeguarding and equality standards.Support staff are valued members of the school community and fill vital roles. They are respected for the expertise they bring to their area of work. St Bede’s supports the professional development of its staff and takes staff wellbeing very seriously.Annual salary reflects the contractual hours and weeks per year and is calculated using a Surrey Pay formula which includes payment in respect of statutory annual leave allowances. Salary is paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.There is no entitlement to take leave during term time. We also benefit from being within walking distance of beautiful countryside . Many staff live locally, others commute from Guildford, South London, Kent and East & West Sussex.
