Summary

Job OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management and real estate services organisation on a short-term contract based in Hull. This is a hands-on role supporting critical building infrastructure, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring electrical systems remain operational and compliant.

Location: Hull, HU8 8AE (On-site)

Rate: £26.91 per hour

Contract Length: 1 Month

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance across site.

Diagnose faults and repair modular UPS systems and associated equipment.

Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests within SLA targets.

Complete site surveys, risk assessments and method statements.

Support installation and upgrade projects on plant and electrical equipment.

Monitor critical systems and environmental conditions.

Produce incident reports and root cause analysis following outages or failures.

Key Requirements

17th or 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations qualification.

Previous experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial, industrial or critical environment.

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Experience working with UPS systems or other critical electrical infrastructure.

Knowledge of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Additional Information:

Interview Process: One-stage interview.

Experience with HVAC, AHU, FCU, heating systems, plumbing, carpentry or joinery would be advantageous.

Testing and inspection experience is desirable.
