Vacancy – Night Shift Team leader
Our client is a fast-growing company specialising in essential medical supplies. They are now looking for a proactive and experienced Night Shift Team Leader to take ownership of the daily flow between our Picking and Packing departments, keep warehouse operations smooth and tidy, and help lead by example across the team. This role is ideal for someone with previous fast-paced eCommerce and high output warehouse ideally in small product industry who enjoys being hands-on while keeping a clear eye on the bigger picture.
The Role
You will help keep the team moving efficiently, anticipate bottlenecks, and take initiative to tidy, prep, and replenish stock before issues arise. You will naturally take the lead, communicate clearly with team members, and step up to keep workflows efficient, especially during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate Picking and Packing teams.
• Manage cardboard waste.
• Support picking operations in the morning to kickstart output.
• Keep the floor and shelves tidy, clean, and safely arranged.
• Identify out-of-stock items during picking and action replenishment.
• Liaise with team members to plan restocking and packaging needs.
• Oversee outbound shipment readiness — including Amazon FBA and courier pallets.
• Prioritise incoming stock without neglecting other areas — clear communication is key.
• Communicate with warehouse staff (pallets), and senior staff when needed.
• Lead by example — jump in where needed and guide newer team members.
• Packing & Preparation: Ensure goods are accurately prepared, packed, and labelled for sale.
• Stock Handling: Organize and manage stock to ensure smooth workflow and timely dispatch.
• Quality Control: Inspect items for accuracy and condition before shipping.
• Teamwork & Efficiency: Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily packing targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Strong leadership background in picking and packing with 2+ years’ experience.
• Amazon Fulfilment Centre or high-volume eCommerce experience preferred.
• Confident taking initiative and coordinating across departments.
• Organised, dependable, and proactive in solving problems.
• Skilled at multitasking and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive communicator who leads by example
