Summary

Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established operation based in Telford, TF7.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for an ongoing role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The role is based within a cold-storage environment, including freezer areas, so you must be comfortable working in lower temperatures. This is a hands-on position suited to candidates who enjoy physical work and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties

• Picking and packing products accurately

• Heavy lifting and manual handling

• Working within chilled and freezer areas

• Wrapping and preparing boxes for dispatch

• Using a pump truck

• Checking products for quality and quantity

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe

• Working with the team to achieve daily targets

Candidate Requirements

• Comfortable working in cold environments, including freezer areas of up to 4°C

• Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting

• Good attention to detail

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible and able to work a 4 on 4 off rota, including weekends

What's on Offer?

• £12.71 per hour

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern

• 6:00am – 6:00pm

• Weekend working included as part of the rota
