Summary

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Location: Telford, TF1

Pay: £13.10 per hour

Shifts: Rotating weekly shifts

Contract: Temporary with potential for ongoing work

Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Production Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing operation in Telford.

If you have previous factory, production, packing or manufacturing experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity to secure a stable Monday-to-Friday role.

You’ll be joining a hardworking production team where attention to detail, quality and teamwork are key. You’ll help ensure products are packed correctly, checked to a high standard and prepared for the next stage of production and dispatch.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately packing products and ensuring the correct quantities are prepared

• Carrying out quality checks and removing faulty or damaged products

• Boxing products ready for inspection and the next stage of production

• Operating a range of production machinery safely and efficiently

• Moving and handling materials within production and warehouse areas

• Carrying out routine machinery checks and reporting any issues

• Using basic maths for measurements, quantities and production calculations

• Working with your team to achieve daily production targets and deadlines

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for reliable, switched-on individuals who take pride in their work and can maintain high standards in a busy production environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience

• Previous production or packing experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment

• Materials handling or warehouse experience would be advantageous

• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality while working at pace

• A practical approach to problem-solving

• The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• A strong commitment to Health & Safety and quality standards

• Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern

SHIFT PATTERN

This is a weekly rotating shift pattern, so you must be available to work all three shifts:

• 07:00–15:00

• 15:00–23:00

• 23:00–07:00

• Monday to Friday

PAY

£13.10 per hour across all shifts.
