Deputy Room Leader
Salary: £27,000 – £29,500 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

What We're Looking For:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) –
Essential
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
Solid understanding of the
EYFS framework and child development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, organised, and caring approach to supporting young children
Ability to help lead and inspire a small team in a busy early years environment

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Room Leader in the day-to-day running of the room
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing key updates with parents
Help manage room resources and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety
Be a positive role model and support junior team members
