Summary

Main duties of the job We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Neurological Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Community Stroke and Neuro Service. You will work as part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with stroke and a wide range of neurological conditions. Managing your own caseload, you will provide person-centred rehabilitation across a variety of settings, including our Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, outpatient clinics, and patients' homes across East and North Hertfordshire. You will support patients with complex neurological rehabilitation needs to maximise their independence, wellbeing and quality of life. Working closely with patients, carers, families and health and social care colleagues, you will contribute to coordinated care planning and provide specialist advice and education to support rehabilitation outcomes. You will also play a key role in multidisciplinary team working, supervision of students and support staff, and service development activities including audit and quality improvement. This role offers opportunities to broaden your experience across different areas of the Hertfordshire Community Neuro Service, including potential participation in specialist neuro rotations. The post holder will also participate in the service weekend rota, which currently involves approximately one Saturday in every six weeks.
