What's involved with this role:

Role: Finance Analyst

Ref: 000B 5C68 / 1

Pay Rate: £29.47 per hour PAYE, with flexible holiday pay

Hours: 37 hours per week

Length of Contract: 6 months

Location: Wembley, London HA9 0FJ

Working Arrangements: Hybrid - Candidates will be required to work at Brent Civic Centre 3 days per week

Finance Analyst – Pension Fund

Are you a qualified finance professional with strong accounting, reporting and analytical skills? Join a busy finance team supporting pension fund accounts, financial monitoring and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate pension fund financial reports, annual accounts and working papers.

Reconcile ledgers, pension contributions, income and expenditure.

Manage year-end adjustments, accruals and valuations.

Respond to audit queries and complete statutory returns.

Support Pension Fund Committees, Boards and investment reporting.

Essential Requirements

AAT qualified, part-qualified CCAB/CII or equivalent experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and statutory reporting.

Experience producing financial reports, accounts and reconciliations.

Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Business Objects and ADI.

Experience with banking systems, VAT and income tax issues.

Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.

Ability to investigate financial issues, identify variances and provide solutions.

Experience working with auditors and supporting year-end processes.
