You will help ensure goods are delivered safely, accurately and on time to customers and other locations.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Complete local and regional deliveries while following planned routes• Load, secure and unload goods safely• Carry out handball duties when required• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects• Check delivery paperwork and obtain the required signatures• Provide professional, helpful service at each delivery point• Follow all relevant transport, health and safety proceduresSkills and qualifications• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Relevant professional driving experience• Good knowledge of safe loading, securing and unloading procedures• Physically able to undertake regular handball work• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious• Good communication and customer service skills• A professional approach and the ability to work independentlyBenefits• £16 to £17 per hour• Permanent, day-shift position• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity visible to local employersIf you are a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver with handball experience, this could be a suitable next step.
