This is a permanent, day-shift position suited to an experienced driver who is confident completing multi-drop deliveries and handling goods safely.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Complete multi-drop delivery routes, including more than 10 drops• Load, unload and handball goods as required• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Provide professional service at collection and delivery points• Follow all relevant road transport, health and safety proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Digital tachograph experience• Previous multi-drop delivery experience• Confident with handball work and manual handling• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours• Reliable, punctual and organised• Professional approach with good communication skillsBenefits• £16 per hour• Permanent employment• Day shifts• Paid every WednesdayAbout the companyThe employer operates in transport, distribution and logistics, providing delivery and freight services across the UK.
