Job Details:

Pay: up to £70,000 per annum plus £5,750 car allowance

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week

Job Role: The

Senior Quantity Surveyor will take commercial responsibility for the financial performance of major civil engineering and infrastructure works. Working closely with project managers, engineering teams, planners, procurement specialists and the wider commercial department, you will ensure accurate forecasting, timely valuations and robust contract management. As

Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee cost management, NEC contract administration, change control and commercial reporting, helping to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. You will manage subcontractor accounts, prepare and review payment applications, assess variations, complete cost-value reconciliations and maintain accurate commercial records. You will also identify and control commercial risks while providing clear commercial leadership across multiple work packages.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a

Senior Quantity Surveyor or in a comparable senior commercial position on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects

• Strong NEC Contract Administration experience

• Budget Management

• Commercial exposure to engineering, planning, project controls, legal, risk, procurement and client teams

• Experience mentoring junior quantity surveying or commercial personnel

• Degree at BSc or MSc level in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous

Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within the nuclear sector or another safety-critical, regulated or publicly scrutinised environment

• Membership of

RICS or evidence of working towards

MRICS status

• This position requires a minimum of four days per week working on site
