Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Mobile / Field-Based
Hours: 40 hours per week , Overtime paid for hours worked above 40
Bonus: 5% annual bonus

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing property services business and play a key role in building its air conditioning and property maintenance department.
This is a varied, mobile role covering reactive air conditioning work, servicing, repairs, surveys and quotations for new installations and replacement systems.
This isn't simply another mobile engineering position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help establish the air conditioning division from the ground up, with the longer-term potential to manage the team as the department grows.

Our customers are primarily commercial properties, including dental surgeries, care homes and other premises that have often been converted from residential properties.
As the department grows, there is an excellent opportunity for the right person to progress into a management position and help build and lead a new team.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
• Attending commercial properties to diagnose and repair air conditioning faults
• Carrying out reactive maintenance and servicing
• Surveying sites and providing quotations for new installations and replacement systems
• Working on a variety of air conditioning systems
• Ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard
• Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation
• Carrying out general property maintenance tasks as required
• Supporting the wider property maintenance team when necessary
• Helping develop processes and establish the new air conditioning department
• Progressing towards taking responsibility for managing a team as the department expands
About You
You will be an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with:
• F-Gas qualification
• Strong experience in air conditioning installation, servicing and reactive maintenance
• The ability to diagnose faults and work independently
• Experience working in commercial environments
• Good customer-facing and communication skills
• A practical, flexible approach to work
• The confidence and willingness to undertake general property maintenance duties when required
• An interest in developing into a leadership or management role
You don't need to be a specialist in every aspect of property maintenance, but you must be comfortable getting involved and helping wherever required.
