Summary

Year 6 Teaching Assistant – Edmonton | Full-Time

A primary school in Edmonton is looking for an experienced Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Working within a Year 6 class, you will support the class teacher during lessons and work with pupils individually and in small groups. You’ll provide targeted support with English and Maths, reinforce learning and help pupils build confidence as they progress through their final year of primary school.

The role may also include delivering small group interventions and supporting pupils with SATs preparation throughout the year.

The school is looking for a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant who understands the expectations of Key Stage 2 (KS2) and can quickly become an effective part of the classroom team.

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school is essential. Experience supporting Year 6 or upper KS2 pupils would be particularly beneficial.
