Summary

Teaching Assistant – Harrow | 1:1 Tracheostomy Support

A primary school in Harrow is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is trained and confident in supporting a pupil with a tracheostomy.

This is a 1:1 role providing dedicated support to a child throughout the school day, helping them access learning and participate fully in classroom and school activities.

Due to the pupil's needs, applicants must have previous experience and relevant training in tracheostomy care and be confident providing this support within a school environment. Alongside the pupil's healthcare needs, you will support their learning, communication, independence and overall participation in school life.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SEN team and other professionals involved in the pupil's care to ensure they receive consistent and appropriate support.

The school is looking for a calm, caring and reliable Teaching Assistant who understands the importance of following individual care plans and established procedures.
