We are teaming up with a fantastic care home with nursing in Matlock to find reliable care assistants for weekly Saturday and Sunday shifts. This role is for days only.

Your day-to-day will involve helping residents with their daily routines, assisting with personal care, mobility, and offering friendly companionship. It is a rewarding role where you can genuinely brighten someone's day while building great experience in the care sector.

What You Need

• Reliable Transport: You must have a dependable way to get to Matlock every single Saturday and Sunday for your scheduled shift times.

• Experience: Must have previous experience working within a residential care home.

• The Right Attitude: A warm, patient, and friendly approach is an absolute must. You'll be working as part of a supportive team that relies on everyone pulling their weight.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

- An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or an older Enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service

- Up to date mandatory training certificates

- Full up-to-date CV

- A referenceable employment history with one reference referring to a minimum of 6 months of experience within a Residential Care Home.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate

You will be working on Saturday and Sundays from 07:45 to 20:00.

You will be paid £13.50 per hour, with hours being paid weekly and holiday entitlement accrued on a F.T.E basis.
