Summary
Job responsibilities We like to give all our GPs a variety of work to make their working week more enjoyable. This includes: triage of online forms on call (maximum one session per week) face to face sessions (up to 14 contacts per session) telephone sessions (up to 16 contacts per session) We support our GPs with our broad multidisciplinary team including Nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomists, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Workers, First contact physiotherapists, Rapid Response Home Visiting team, our excellent in house Data and Coding team, and others. This multidisciplinary team reduces your workload in a number of ways: Far fewer home visits Fewer minor illnesses Support with complex mental health patients Negligible repeat prescription workload Significantly reduced clinical admin work We encourage personal development and there are opportunities to pursue special interests including minor operations, baby clinics, contraception, or becoming a Trainer. We are a strong practice, and are proud of the work we do within our PCN and have embarked on a practice garden project to improve the health of our patients.
