About the Role
IZ Connect Recruitment 360 are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Nursery Cook to join a friendly nursery setting on a full-time basis.
You will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for children, while ensuring all food is prepared and stored safely in line with current food hygiene and nursery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking nutritious meals and snacks for children.
Catering for different dietary requirements, allergies and special dietary needs.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
Following food safety and allergen procedures.
Planning menus and ensuring meals are varied and age-appropriate.
Ordering and checking food supplies when required.
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained.
Working closely with the nursery team to ensure children's individual dietary needs are met.
Following all nursery policies and procedures.
