Summary
Location: Tullibody
Hours: 15 Hours per week (3 days a week 5 hours a day, to be agreed with employer)
Temporary Cover till January
10:30am- 2:30pm
9pm-10pm
Rate of Pay: £14 per hour Gross (note: must meet Scottish Living Wage as a minimum amount)
Description:
Employer is looking for a kind, reliable and dependable Personal Assistant/ Care Worker to provider care and support to a woman living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her own home. Supporting her independence, choice and dignity
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in providing person-centred care and would enjoy building a trusting relationship with the employer.
Tasks will include:
· Assisting with their Personal Care
· Assisting with their bedtime routine
· Assisting with catheter care
· Assisting with dressing
· Preparing food/drinks as required
· Assisting the supported person with general household support
· Assisting with transfers and mobility using a tracking/ ceiling hoist
· Providing Companionship and assisting with social support
Any other duties commensurate with the role of Care Worker / Personal Assistant
