Job Overview
-An exciting opportunity to join Mitie at the airport, we are recruiting for an engineering supervisor to manage day to day operations within a terminal building. The role is to work closely with the client and our own team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hard services and the building fabric.
Main Duties
-DUTIES MAY INCLUDED BUT ARE NOT LMITED TO:
-The supervision of engineering staff and monitoring performance.
-Liaison with clients.
-Allocation of works to engineering staff.
-To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
-To ensure compliance with the MITIE Maintenance Quality Management System as it applies to this position.
-Ad hoc project work as requested by the Account Manager.
-Managing KPI's and ensuring works are delivered within the timeframe.
-Managing sub-contractors.
-Checking quotations and challenging costs where required.
-Auditing engineers and sub-contractor work orders.
-Prioritising engineer's work load and tasks.
-Ordering materials.
-Client Approval meetings.
-Holiday and overtime approval.
-Running various different reports using the clients CAFM system.
What we are looking for
-Previous experience in Facilities Management.
-Qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
-A team player, guiding and supporting the current team of 17 reports.
