As a Senior Business Relationship Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, building influential partnerships that align business priorities with digital capabilities and services.  

Working across a diverse portfolio, you will help identify and shape demand for digital services, develop strategic roadmaps, and ensure investment is focused on initiatives that deliver the greatest value for users and the organisation. You will provide expert guidance, challenge proposals where appropriate, and influence decision-making at a senior level to support the delivery of departmental objectives.  

You'll work across Digital, Information and Security and the wider DfT family, translating complex business needs into practical digital solutions while championing user-centred approaches and continuous improvement. This is a high-profile role offering the opportunity to shape digital strategy, drive organisational change, and play a key role in delivering better services for colleagues, citizens and stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:  

  • Working in partnership with colleagues and networks, providing expert advice, assurance and guidance, and delivering insight and influence.   
  • Leveraging digital, data and technology capabilities to help deliver inclusive user and citizen focused services in support of DfT strategic objectives.   
  • Developing trusted and influential relationships with senior stakeholders within your portfolio which allows you to stimulate, surface and shape demand for digital capability.  
  • Using knowledge to provide actionable insight that allows Digital, Information and Security to prepare for future organisational demands.   
  • Influencing business planning and identify opportunities for the application of both existing and innovative technologies to better meet user need.
