Summary
General: 1. To adhere to all relevant policies. 2. To comply with all relevant legislation. 3. To undertake appropriate training and personal development as required for the role. 4. To support the work of the Central Operations Manager in the event of sickness, holiday, or other exceptional circumstances. 5. To portray a positive image of the organisation both internally and externally, and set high standards of personal integrity and professionalism, leading by personal example. 6. To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required, consistent with the nature and grade of the post. Duties and Responsibilities 7. To be an active, integrated, and cohesive member of the central administration team in order to contribute fully to the delivery of the charity's strategic marketing and communications objectives. 8. To work with the Central Operations Manager to improve the profile, visibility, and reputation of the charity across Coventry and Warwickshire. 9. To work effectively with all people, developing productive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, external partners, and the Board of Trustees. 10. To contribute to the preparation of reports and information for the Central Operations Manager and other leadership team members as required. 11. To represent the organisation as required. 12. To lead on key marketing, communications, promotional activities, projects, and campaigns as required. Specific Responsibilities: 13. To develop and cultivate positive relationships within local communities across Coventry and Warwickshire. 14. To identify opportunities to increase awareness of the charity, promote its services, strengthen community engagement, and enhance the organisation's profile. 15. To promote the work of Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire through the creation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with organisational branding, including assisting with the recruitment process. 16. To develop a database of supporters of the charity and cultivate a long-term relationship between them and the charity. 17.To manage and develop the charity's social media channels, creating engaging content and supporting audience growth and engagement. 18.To support managers in their relationships with external organisations. 19. To contribute to monitoring, reporting, and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing, communications, and promotional activities. 20. Utilise national and local campaigns to celebrate the work of the charity and increasing awareness of its services, projects, and impact. 21. Contribute towards the development and maintenance of the web site, charitable publications, and materials. 22. To support the promotion of legacy giving through marketing campaigns, awareness activities, and the development of appropriate promotional materials. 23. To prepare and distribute press releases, case studies, news stories, and promotional content to local media outlets and other appropriate channels. 24. To create, manage, and monitor digital advertising campaigns, including social media and search engine advertising. 25. To produce and distribute internal communications, including staff newsletters and organisational updates. 26. To plan, create, and deliver email marketing campaigns to promote services, events, campaigns, volunteering opportunities, and organisational news. General: 27.
