1:1 SEND Support Assistant - Knowsley
Location: Knowsley, Merseyside
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Contract: Full-Time

We're recruiting a 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to work with a pupil in a school in Knowsley, starting as soon as possible.
You'll provide focused support throughout the school day, helping the pupil engage with learning, manage challenges and develop greater confidence and independence.
You'll:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 classroom support.
- Help the pupil access lessons and complete activities.
- Support communication and emotional regulation.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Assist with routines and transitions.
- Adapt support to the pupil's individual needs.
- Work closely with the teacher and SEND team.
- Encourage independence wherever possible.
We're looking for someone who is patient, reliable and confident working with children or young people with additional needs.
Experience in SEND, education, care, behaviour support or youth work would be beneficial, but your ability to build trust and provide calm, consistent support is equally important.
This is a full-time, ASAP-start opportunity paying £95-£105 per day.
