Summary

Sales Executive

The Job:

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive to join an established business within the food processing machinery sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of selling capital equipment into the food industry, who enjoys developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and selling technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the food manufacturing sector

- Manage and grow existing customer accounts and relationships

- Sell capital equipment and machinery to food manufacturing businesses

- Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers

- Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate equipment solutions

- Prepare quotations and manage customers through the sales process

- Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams

- Manage the sales pipeline and work towards agreed sales targets

- Attend customer meetings, site visits and relevant industry events.

The Company:

An established business specialising in food processing machinery and capital equipment, providing technical equipment and solutions to customers within the food manufacturing sector.

The Candidate

- Previous experience selling capital equipment specifically into the food industry is essential

- Strong understanding of food processing or food manufacturing environments

- Proven B2B sales and business development experience

- Confident selling technical products and equipment

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Commercially driven, proactive and confident engaging with customers at all levels

- Able to develop new business while maintaining strong existing customer relationships

The Package

- Salary £38,000–£45,000 basic DOE

- Commission scheme

Candidate Requirements
