TPG DisableAids is looking for a practical, compassionate Part-Time Field Service Engineer to join our Herefordshire Wheelchair Service team.

As an award-winning family business with over 40 years of experience, we help elderly and disabled individuals maintain their independence. This rewarding role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing manual and powered wheelchairs for local NHS service users across Herefordshire and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Field & Workshop Service: Carry out maintenance and repairs in service users' homes, schools, care homes, healthcare settings, and at our Hereford hub.

Troubleshooting: Respond to equipment breakdowns and efficiently diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.

Client Care: Deliver empathetic, high-quality customer service to vulnerable individuals during every visit.

Maintenance Logs: Keep clear, accurate daily records of completed repairs and routine service work.

Occasional Overtime: Attend end-of-day emergency breakdowns when needed so clients are not left stranded (paid at an enhanced rate of time-and-a-third).

Working Pattern & Compensation:

Hours: Part-time | 3 or 4 days per week | 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break).

Schedule: Flexible rotation including alternating Fridays and Mondays to support weekly cover.
