Summary
An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced mental health practitioner to fulfil a 6 month secondment (with view to extend based on service need) as the Clinical Lead/Team Manager for GMMH's Recovery Pathways Service.
This post is a full time position (37.5 hours per week) and the working hours will be 9am - 5pm 5 days per week . The Hub is currently operational Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm so flexible working can be discussed. The post is based at the Zion Centre. The post holder will be expected to travel across Manchester.
This post includes participation in the Bronze on call rota.
The post holder will be responsible for connecting Recovery Pathways with wider clinical services within GMMH, promoting and ensuring equitable access to all service users.
The post holder will support and manage staff to deliver quality services, overseeing the referral process, service standards, outcome monitoring and individuals and service performance. Supervising and managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff, the post holder will lead and develop the service in line with local and national guidelines and emerging evidence based practice. They will undertake service planning, implement changes to practice and policy within the service; and lead on the implementation of systems and processes that will deliver a socially inclusive, recovery focussed service in liaison with the Service Manager.
The post holder will apply their clinical knowledge of recovery focussed interventions, of teaching, of mental health, of moving on (discharge planning), of socially inclusive practice and of partnership working. The post holder will direct the promotion and networking of the services in liaison with senior management, including delivering presentations and training to external and internal bodies where appropriate. The post holder will ensure the service both creates and stems from a firm evidence-base.Contribute an clinical perspective to ensure the safe and effective discharge of clients.
