TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Matlock that has built a good reputation within the local area. The school provides a supportive learning environment and is committed to maintaining high standards for both students and staff.
The school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting after October half term. The successful English Teacher will teach students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including GCSE English, and will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress and maintain strong classroom management.
The successful English Teacher will have:
- QTS with an English specialism
- Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Experience delivering GCSE English
- Strong classroom management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
