The company supports transport and logistics activity and is seeking a dependable forklift driver to assist with the safe and efficient movement of goods.Key responsibilities• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently• Loading and unloading vehicles• Moving, stacking and organising goods within the working area• Checking loads and following site procedures• Supporting general warehouse and yard duties as required• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment• Working cooperatively with colleagues and following instructionsSkills and qualifications• A current, recognised counterbalance forklift qualification• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift• Good awareness of workplace health and safety• Ability to handle goods carefully and work accurately• Reliable attendance and a positive approach to work• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Good communication skillsBenefits• £15 to £16 per hour• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Overtime available• Opportunity for permanent employment• Visibility to local employersThis is a practical role suited to a reliable forklift driver who can work safely, maintain high standards and contribute to an efficient operation.Apply today.
