This temporary daytime role offers regular work, overtime opportunities and the potential to move into permanent employment.About the companyA Worcestershire-based logistics business providing freight transport, warehousing, storage and distribution services. Its operations include general haulage, food and ambient goods distribution, container handling and abnormal-load transport. The business also provides waste storage and transportation services and operates dedicated workshop facilities.Key responsibilities• Carry out multi-drop and planned delivery work safely and professionally• Complete vehicle checks before, during and after each shift• Load, secure and transport goods in line with legal and operational requirements• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts• Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly• Follow company, transport and health and safety proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence, Category C• Current Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Good knowledge of UK roads and safe driving practices• Reliable, punctual and responsible approach to work• Good communication and customer service skills• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading where required• Previous commercial driving or multi-drop delivery experience is advantageousBenefits• £16 to £17 per hour• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Overtime available• Opportunity for permanent employmentApply today.
